By accessing this website and/or placing an order or requesting a delivery you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions you may not use or access this website.

References to this website in these terms and conditions apply to this website however you access it, including accessing this website through our mobile applications or a version of this website optimised for use on mobile devices.

Access to this website is granted strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  These Terms and Conditions apply also to all orders/delivery requests placed by you through this website.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.

We may change our Terms and Conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders/delivery requests. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website; or
  • Change the Terms and Conditions from time to time.

You will be deemed to have accepted such changes if you continue to use this website (or any part of it) or you continue to place orders / delivery requests after any such changes.

It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Terms and Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change of the Terms and Conditions then you must immediately stop using this website.

However, except to the extent required by applicable law or as otherwise set out in these Terms and Conditions, Wild Hearth Bakery does not represent or warrant the accuracy or reliability of any of the information or content about any products or services accessed from this website.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Wild Hearth Bakery hereby excludes liability for any claims, losses, demands, or damages of any kind whatsoever with respect to the website or the Materials including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or damages, whether arising from loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of use or otherwise and whether or not the possibility of such loss has been notified to Wild Hearth Bakery. The foregoing will apply whether such claims, loss or damages arise in tort, contract, negligence, under statute or otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits Wild Hearth Bakery’s liability for fraud or death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described products. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority, Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

Customers will be required to register to use the services available from this website. Wild Hearth Bakery may decline a registration request at its sole discretion. By registering for the services, customers agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree that:

  • The personal information that you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.
  • You will notify us immediately of any changes to the personal information by updating your details on the ‘My Account’ page on the website or by contacting Wild Hearth Bakery.
  • You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

3. Online shopping

General information and payment security

Delivery/collection restrictions

When placing your order, you must select the delivery date corresponding to your location as shown on the delivery area maps and descriptions on our website.  If you are unsure and wish to confirm please contact Wild Hearth Bakery by phoning 03330 151304 or emailing .  You will be liable for any orders placed for incorrect delivery days, and will need to collect or accept delivery of your goods at a date convenient to Wild Hearth Bakery.

We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas and on certain delivery days. This includes the right to withdraw our services to individual customers’ addresses in exceptional circumstances.

Collection is available for community bread cooperatives.

Delivery and collection arrangements

Deliveries and collection times vary.  Our deliveries commence early in the morning.  We guarantee delivery on the date specified but are unable to guarantee a time.   A collection time for community bread cooperatives will be agreed with the co-op host, who may communicate this to co-op members.  In relation to deliveries made to community bread cooperatives, once delivery has been made to the address specified by a Co-op Leader, the collection of orders by co-op members is a matter between the co-op member and the Co-op Leader.

Delivery is contactless.  If we deliver before 9am, we may not knock or ring a customer’s door bell.  Customers are responsible for checking for delivery.  Where there is rain or the threat of rain, and we are unable to confirm you are available to receive a delivery, we will leave goods in a polythene bag in the most suitable location at the delivery location.

Errors/shortages, not fulfilling orders and quantity limits

If there are errors or shortages in what we supply to you, we ask that these are brought to the attention of Wild Hearth Bakery by phoning 03330 151304 or emailing as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours from delivery or collection.

Our refund and replacement policy

Unless you notify us within 24 hours from delivery, all goods are normally deemed to be correct and acceptable.

Under consumer laws in the United Kingdom, we must supply our goods to you as described, fit for purpose and they must be of satisfactory quality. If we supply services to you, then we must supply them with reasonable care and skill.

If you wish to exercise your right of refund or replacement of products that you have ordered online, you are obliged to retain possession of the products and take reasonable care of them or return them to us.

We will give you a full refund for goods that are not of a satisfactory quality or arrange the next available delivery of replacement products.

If you request a refund for products that you have ordered online, we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to products to which cancellation rights apply.  This includes any delivery fees.  We will make the reimbursement no later than 7 days after the day we receive back from you any products supplied.

Credit Card safety when shopping online

The Wild Hearth Bakery web shop uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your details as they are being transmitted to us.  This technology is designed to minimise the risk that someone else could breach your privacy when shopping online with us.

We provide you with an option to store your card details so that you can order from us again without needing to type your details in. To assist to keep your card information secure, we only display the last four digits of your stored card number on our website to you, when logged into your Wild Hearth Bakery online account. If you do not wish to store your card details with us, you can instead enter these in each time you place an order.

We do not store your payment details on our web server. Your payment details are held by our payment processing partner, Stripe, on their industry-standard secure servers. Card numbers are encrypted using a security system which is a common standard relied on by the main financial and banking institutions called Triple DES (Data Encryption Standard).

Substitutions

Where an item is unavailable, an alternative may be supplied that may affect the price that you pay. If we substitute an item with a more expensive one, you’ll only pay the lower of the two prices. Upon delivery or collection you will be made aware of unavailable items and their substitutes. You have the right to reject any substitutes offered and we will refund the amount that you have been charged for that product.

Minimum spend

To qualify for delivery or collection, you must meet the below minimum spend on groceries and/or Food Made to Order when shopping online:

  • £24 for home deliveries; or
  • £12 for collection at a community bread cooperative.

We reserve the right to amend our delivery charges and minimum spend requirements.  They will be clearly defined during the checkout process.

Amendments to orders

There is no right to amend or cancel an order placed online.  However, we may be able to make changes in certain circumstances.  To request this, phone 03330 151304 or email .
